Pokhara is a metropolitan city located in central Nepal, which serves as the capital of Gandaki Province. Named the country's "capital of tourism" it is the second largest city after Kathmandu, with 600,051 inhabitants living in 120,594 households as of 2021 census.

One of the most notable features of Pokhara is the stunning Phewa Lake, which is surrounded by verdant hills and snow-capped mountains. You can take a boat ride on the lake and enjoy the serene surroundings, or go for a hike up the hills to get a panoramic view of the city.

For those seeking adventure, Pokhara has plenty to offer. You can go paragliding over the Himalayas, zip-lining through the forests, or even bungee jumping from a suspension bridge. And if you're a fan of trekking, the Annapurna Circuit is just a stone's throw away.
